Despite this change, the bike still retains its original custom wood box, which contains the controller and extra wires. This box is still located at the front of the bike, adding to its unique look. The new battery type not only made the bike lighter, but it also increased its range, making it a more practical option for longer rides.

To convert a bike like this, you will need to purchase a few key components, such as a battery and eBike kit. For beach cruisers I recommend using a front wheel eHub motor… Which is responsible for providing power to the bike via a front wheel drive, while the ‘controller’… Which is the brains of the operation regulates the power flow to the eHub motor.
