A Sleek Orange Hot Rod

My first eBike conversion, which was built back in early 2017, has gone through numerous design changes and improvements over the years. What started as a basic idea has transformed into a sleek and stylish electric bike that provides a comfortable and enjoyable riding experience.
The original design of the bike included wooden boxes that housed lead-acid batteries, but as I continued to work on it, I strived to streamline the design and make it more efficient. You can see some of the changes I made to the bike here if you’re interested.
My main focus throughout the process was to fine-tune the power setup and components to meet my personal needs and preferences. So, while my experience with this bike may not be the same as others, it has worked well for me.
Throughout the years, my eBike has proven to be incredibly reliable and enjoyable to ride. The 500+W motor that I picked up on a good deal has been a great match for my bike and is still running smoothly. Over the past few years, I’ve put over 5000 miles on the bike, which is a testament to the durability of a well-maintained DIY eBike.
Riding an eBike is a unique and fulfilling experience. The electric assist provides the rider with an effortless ride, making it easy to cover longer distances and conquer hills. The ability to control the amount of assistance received also means that you can customize your ride to your liking, making it an excellent option for a variety of riders.
This groovy beach cruiser eBike design is perfect for casual riders who want a stylish and practical eBike that is also a lot of fun to ride. Whether you’re looking to commute, go on leisurely rides, or just enjoy a ride with friends, this eBike is a great option.
With its combination of design, functionality, and performance, it’s no wonder why I’ve loved this bike at every stage of its development.
