The Tools You Will Need...
A few basic tools is all that's necessary to build this eBike and can easily be found at your local hardware store or directly online.
10 PC. Metric Allen Wrench Set 1.5 THRU 10 MM
This is a great inexpensive set that has all the sizes you will need, plus the “L” shape will allow you to get into hard to reach areas.
6 in 1 Screwdriver
If you don’t have one of these yet, this a perfect basic screwdriver that has both large and small phillips and flatheads… It’s my “Go To” screwdriver and highly recommend it for flexibility.
Ace 4 in. Alloy Steel Diagonal Pliers
I really love this pair of pliers and have used it on all sorts of projects through out the years… It’s got a great cutting edge…And has a comfortable handle.
8 in. Adjustable Wrench... AKA 'Monkey Wrench'
This one is probably in one of your kitchen draws already, but if you don’t own one yet… You can easily find it at your local hardware store or below.
Multipurpose Scissors
Another one that you probably have floating around… If not, here’s a pretty good Multipurpose Scissors - 3 Pack with fun colors.
Electrical Wire Stripping/Crimper Tool
This one you probably don’t have… So ask around if any friends have one you might borrow…Or you can find at your local hardware store or get it below. It’s another one that can be done with scissors… However, it’s much easier and cleaner to have this tool for the few wires we need to connect.
12V Cordless 3/8 in. Drill/Driver Kit
This is another one that if you don’t have already, there’s a good chance a friend will loan you one to use… Otherwise, it’s a good thing to have around and so you can find this one to be a pretty good deal.
1/8 in. Drill Bit
It’s nice to have a set of bits if you are getting a new drill, but if all you need is the single one needed for the bracket board… Then this is another item you can find at your local hardware store or online.
13" Bungee Cord
These always come in handy and this is the sized I used for locking down the front wheel as I worked on things and it will come in very useful for holding down items in your front basket as you ride later on.
